The Men's Ministry of New Life Tabernacle, began in January of 1992. The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to connect men to God, to their families, to church, and to their careers.
Through special events and activities specifically targeted to men, the Men’s Ministry increases the opportunities for the men of New Life Tabernacle to make these vital connections. From sessions with special speakers to prayer meetings to times of fun activities, the men of the church are provided with numerous avenues to join in fellowship and to grow personally and spiritually.
Some of the regular activities of Our Men’s Ministry include:
- Men’s Prayer Breakfasts, which provide a time for men of the church to bring their friends and co-workers to a restaurant as well as to interact with one another and to combine fellowship with a special time of prayer.
- Men’s Prayer meetings take place several times during the year so that men can get together and pray like men, these prayer meetings provide a time for the men of the church to bind together in prayer.
- The Men’s Ministry takes an active part in mentoring the youth of New Life Tabernacle; this ministry takes upon itself to take the time to take our young men and young ladies to different activities through out the year.
- We celebrate a Day with Dad, as men spend an exciting time with their son’s and daughter’s at Adventure Park.
- Men’s Camping Trips are planned during the year of two days in the mountains with fishing, campfires, good food and a great time of relaxation.
- Family Barbecue’s are a great way to spend an afternoon with the families of the church, and inviting friends and loved ones to participate in a day of food, fun and fellowship.
- Fishing Trips, whether it is a time around the favorite fishing hole at a nearby lake or a special trip to the coast for some deep sea fishing, the men of NLT enjoy being a part of each others fellowship and retelling stories of the big one that got away.
New Life Tabernacle Men’s Ministry and activities are open to all men age of every age group.
