The Young Married’s Fellowship brings homes together in fellowship and relationships. The Young Married’s leadership is responsible for coordinating scheduled activities that will bring our young married’s together for a time of “fun” and “fellowship”.
The mission of this department is to create an atmosphere of unity, happiness, and just plain fun by bringing our families together to spend quality time together in family activities.
The many yearly activities that the Young Married’s Fellowship Group have participated in are:
Valentines Banquets
This is a fun and relaxed atmosphere full of romance and laughs. This fun filled evening is filled with games, skits and great food.
Family Camp
Yearly the families of New Life Tabernacle venture to the coast of Ventura and there enjoy a week of Church at the Family Camp called Pacific Coast Apostolic Youth & Family Camp during the month of June. This week is filled with the Spirit, wonderful fellowship, and a great place to relax.
Pizza Fellowship
On a monthly basis the families of the church gather together at one of the Pizza parlors in town for a time of fellowship and relaxation. This event usually will take place on a Sunday evening after our evening service has completed.
Christmas Parade Outing
This is an enjoyable evening as many families take off to the city of Hanford to enjoy the Christmas Parade and a bite to eat afterwards and a time of fellowship.
Breakfast Club
The Young Married’s have found themselves gathering together 2 to 4 times a year for a Saturday breakfast along with games and a fun filled morning of fellowship.
Prayer Meetings
The Young Married’s understand that the strength of any home is the spiritual condition of a mom and dad. With this in mind, we as the spiritual leaders of our homes gather together on a weekly basis for a time to reconnect and enjoy the presence of the Lord through prayer.
Marriage Enrichment Classes
Through out the year at New Life Tabernacle the Family is a major subject behind the pulpit as our Pastor preaches and teaches from the Word of God. On a yearly basis we take time out to set aside time that Marriage can be strengthen through special classes that encourage family growth and development.
Home Fellowship
The whole family is invited to homes within the church family for games, snacks and plenty of good wholesome fun.
The mission of the Young Marrieds’ department is to unite the family, through prayer, church related projects, bringing strength to our homes through bible reading and directing our families to a greater relationship through Jesus Christ by way of being a relationship with the church.
